Are you an Amazon shopper? If so, we have great news! We have been invited to join AmazonSmile!

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organizations selected by customers.

Thank you in advance for shopping and supporting SAILvation!

A great big THANK YOU goes out to Stephen Wallace and Troop 285 of San Antonio, TX for a very generous donation to SAILvation! We are working on partnering with a local school that has a majority of low income students, and hope to take them on a great adventure once the Boy Scout season is over. The kids we will serve with these funds will be ever so grateful!

Captain Ron is finishing up the first week of the Boy Scout season today. This week Grand Nellie hosted young men of troops 61 and 136 from Louisiana, who had a wonderful High Seas Adventure, and took up a collection to make a generous donation to SAILvation. A big thank you goes out to them from the kids this money will serve!

Captain Ron spoke with the Dry Tortugas Park officials yesterday and was told that when we bring our SAILvation kids there, the park will open its doors for free to those kids. Now all we have to do is find the right group of kids down here and enough volunteers to make it happen!
