Today is the final day to reserve your original life-size dolphin fluke print created by Florida Keys artist Lisa Herman in collaboration with Island Dolphin Care.

Call 305-451-5884 or email [email protected], choose your favorite IDC dolphin, then Lisa will create and hand-sign your custom print using non-toxic inks alongside the IDC team. You can even watch the process live on-site or virtually.

Each one-of-a-kind print is $300, with all proceeds supporting IDC’s mission.

Be Part of Something Extraordinary 🐬

Island Dolphin Care is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate Marine Mammal Trainer to join our Animal Care & Training team in Key Largo.

In this role, you will support the care of our dolphin family through daily husbandry, training, enrichment, habitat care, and overall animal welfare.

You will also play a vital role in the therapy and educational programs that make Island Dolphin Care so special by helping foster experiences of connection, healing, learning, and joy for children, adults, families, veterans, and individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities include:�
🐟 Fish prep, cleaning, record keeping, and daily animal care�🐬 Dolphin training, enrichment, and husbandry support�🌊 Assisting with dry, shallow-water, and in-water programs�💙 Supporting therapy and education experiences�🤿 SCUBA diving habitats and helping with maintenance�🤝 Working with participants, families, interns, volunteers, and guests

Ideal candidates should have:�
✔️ Open Water SCUBA certification�✔️ A degree or certification in a related field preferred�✔️ At least 6 months of marine mammal training or professional animal care experience�✔️ Strong swimming skills�✔️ A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset�✔️ A heart for both animals and people

This is a hands-on, mission-driven position for someone who wants to make a difference every day — for dolphins, for people, and for the community we serve.
