Meet Fluffy! Our bottle baby who grew up right here at UKHS. 🐾❤️

Some of you may not know Fluffy’s story. He came to us as a tiny bottle baby who needed extra love and care to grow big and strong. We gave him that start in life, and somewhere along the way, the Upper Keys Humane Society became the only home he’s ever known.

Fluffy has spent about 10 YEARS here with us on the adult cat side. And while he’s become part of our UKHS family, we can’t help but hope that one day, he’ll get to be part of a family of his very own.

Sadly, adult cats are often the ones who get overlooked. People come in looking for kittens, and we completely understand the appeal of those tiny paws and playful personalities. But our adult cats have so much love to give, too! Some are lucky enough to be chosen and blessed with a forever home, and every time that happens, it reminds us just how special it is when someone opens their heart to a cat who has been waiting a little longer. 🐱💕

Fluffy may not be a tiny kitten anymore, but he still deserves all the head scratches, treats, and unconditional love that come with having a home of his own. Imagine how wonderful it would be for him to curl up on his own couch, have a favorite spot in someone’s home, and be loved as someone’s very own boy. 🥰

And if UKHS is where Fluffy’s story is meant to stay, that’s okay, too! ❤️ He absolutely lives his best life here with us, and we make sure of it! He is loved, cared for, and surrounded by people who know him and adore him. He will always have a place in our family. But if the perfect person comes along and wants to give him a home of his own, we would be over the moon to see him get that special kind of love, too. 🏡🐾
