US Naval Sea Cadet Corps Key Largo Scuba Training

I know many people are waiting for Key Largo SCUBA. Due to a new regulation regarding liability insurance we may not be able to host in 2019 😕
We have never had an injury and have always purchased Divers Alert Network insurance. But, we do open ocean dive... this is not similar to shore diving, fresh water diving or any other diving offered. We are trying to make it happen but it’s not looking good. Please monitor this site and refrain from private messaging.

Parting view from our training site. 2018 is in the books. Another successful year with 100% certification and zero injuries! I have a few videos to review & upload yet. Hope everyone enjoyed their training.

Parents - Don't forget that pick up is from 1000 - 1100 hrs! Cadets will not be released until all tasks are complete so please do not come early...
Shuttle for flyers is 1015 hrs.

End of Day AOW, Saturday, 23 JUN 18: Cleaning, packing, water sports... Making sure those flying home can do so safely... ask your SCUBA cadet why you need 24 hour minimum before you fly after a deep dive. Check out photos from our canoe trip.

We don’t always have an Honor Cadet but this week we have TWO! Both Petty Officer First Class Sophia Lieske & Seaman Apprentice Noah Narita started last week in Basic Open Water SCUBA and continued to Advanced Open Water SCUBA. They completed TWELVE open Atlantic ocean boat dives plus several in the bay! They completed deep & (ship)wreck dives as well. Congratulations!!
