🍦🎃 Our monthly service day at Oasis was filled with sweet treats, creativity, and wonderful company! We enjoyed ice cream kindly donated by Key Largo Chocolates and worked alongside residents to create fun Halloween decorations. 👻

Thank you to everyone who showed up and shared their time with these amazing residents.

Service Above Self looks a lot like this. 💙💛

Key Largo Sunset Rotary was out there helping to Feed the Keys! 🥫🏝️

As many others in the community, we collected food to help stock the local food pantry! 🙌 proud of being a Rotarian and helping serve our communities! This is what is all about.

Together, we can make a difference💙

Another wonderful evening of fellowship and community at Key Largo Sunset Rotary! 💙

Last night, we had the pleasure of welcoming Marianne Finizio from Community Health of South Florida (CHI) as our guest speaker. Marianne shared more about CHI’s programs and reminded us of something we can all too easily put on the back burner—the importance of staying on top of our health, scheduling our annual checkups, and making preventive care a priority.

CHI has offices in Key Largo, Marathon, and Key West and welcomes everyone, with or without health insurance, helping make healthcare more accessible throughout the Florida Keys.

Marianne’s commitment to our community extends far beyond her work with CHI. She is an incredible community advocate who dedicates her time and talents to Take Stock in Children, Toastmasters, and the Florida Keys Council of the Arts, among others.

Thank you, Marianne, for joining us, sharing such an important message, and for all you do to make the Florida Keys a stronger and healthier community! 🌴✨

Two Busy Weeks of Fellowship, Learning & Community at the Rotary Club of Key Largo Sunset! 💙💛

Our Sunset Rotarians have enjoyed two incredible weeks of engaging guest speakers, meaningful conversations, and valuable lessons!

🐾 Last week, we welcomed Nicole Navarro of Pawsitive Beginnings Inc, who delivered a wonderful presentation and shared her passion for making a difference in our community. We also enjoyed welcoming visiting guests and celebrating the birthdays of two special members, Dennis and Lee, who are looking forward to a little more play and a little less work! 🎉

🚔 This week, we welcomed Detective Morales from the MCSO - Florida Keys Office Criminal Investigations Unit, who delivered an informative presentation on protecting ourselves and our loved ones from scams and financial fraud.
From online romance scams and cryptocurrency fraud to phishing, fake arrest threats, banking scams, and grandparent scams, we learned about the warning signs and the importance of staying vigilant.

A valuable reminder: When something doesn't feel right, stop, verify, and never feel pressured to send money or share personal information.
A heartfelt thank-you to both of our guest speakers for sharing their time, expertise, and dedication to our community!

At the Rotary Club of Key Largo Sunset, we believe that fellowship, education, and service go hand in hand. Here's to continuing to learn, connect, and make a difference together! 🌴☀️
Service Above Self. 💙💛
