There's a reason we named her Goldie… she's truly GOLDEN! 🐾

Goldie was found roaming the streets, but it didn't take us long to realize what an absolute sweetheart she is! ❤️

Goldie can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she's all tail wags, kisses, and cuddles. She's also got a fun, playful side that's starting to come out more every day!

A little about our golden girl:

🐾 About 1 year old, 40 lbs
🐾 Dog-friendly and loves people
🐾 Housebroken! 🙌
🐾 Sweet, affectionate, and playful
🐾 Learning her leash manners
🐾Would do best with older kids, as she’s still a big puppy herself and can get a little rambunctious when she plays!

❤️ Before applying, please remember that adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment. Bringing a dog into your family comes with so much love and joy, but also time, patience, training, and responsibility. Please make sure you're ready for all of it, not just the fun parts.

Goldie has so much love to give. Now she just needs a family willing to give her that same love for the rest of her life. 💛

Those EARS! 😍 Meet Katie!

At approximately 7 months old and 18 lbs, Katie is as cute as they come! But behind those adorable ears is a little girl who's still learning how to just be a puppy.

After being found on the streets, Katie is now safe and learning that she no longer has to fend for herself.
She's incredibly sweet, smart, LOVES people and cuddles, and does well with other dogs once she's had a chance to properly meet them. 🥰

Now, let's talk puppy life! 🐶

Katie is still working on potty training, leash manners, and learning that shoes aren't chew toys. 😂 She's a smart girl and making progress, but she'll need someone patient and willing to continue teaching her.

She's also finishing up her puppy vaccines, so a home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal for now.

❤️ Here's the thing… everybody wants a puppy, but not everybody NEEDS a puppy.
Puppies are basically toddlers with four legs! They need time, patience, consistency, and LOTS of training.

Katie has so much potential, but she needs someone who understands that adopting a puppy means committing to ALL the stages, not just the cute ones.

Remember Momma Ellie? She needs us again...

Back in March, Ellie came to us after being found on the streets trying to care for her 9 puppies. She was just a baby herself, already raising babies of her own...

She was one of the first to get adopted, but unfortunately, six months later, Ellie is coming back to us. 💔 Through no fault of her own, her current home just isn't the right fit for her needs.

Ellie is 2 years old, 50 lbs, incredibly sweet, loving, and FULL of life! She loves the water, loves to play, is great with other dogs, and would probably love having a doggy sibling to keep up with her! 💦🐾

She's still very much a puppy at heart, and honestly, she never really got the chance to be one.

We're looking for an active family with a secure yard, willing to give her the exercise, patience, and continued training she needs. She does have a strong prey drive, so a home without free-roaming chickens or similar animals is important.

We promised Ellie a better life when we rescued her, and that promise still stands.

They say money can’t buy happiness… but apparently it can buy vaccines, f***l tests, heartworm treatments, spay & neuter surgeries and a second chance at life! 🤗

And boy, has this been an expensive week! 😅💸
Meet Goldie, Katie, Dottie, and Bruno. ❤️

Three new dogs brought to safety this week, and Bruno, who we recently took in, just got an unexpected diagnosis… he is HEARTWORM positive 🥺

That makes him our FOURTH dog this year alone needing heartworm treatment.

Here’s the thing about rescue. Getting them to safety is just the beginning. Every dog we take in needs COMPLETE vetting and spay/neuter surgeries.

And while each little expense might not seem like much, multiply that by the number of dogs we help, and it adds up REALLY fast.

We don’t regret saying YES to any of them. Not for a second. But the reality is that we can’t do this without help.

So here’s our Saturday ask. ❤️

If you can spare $5, $10, or $20 toward their medical bills, we would be incredibly grateful. No amount is too small, and every dollar helps us continue doing what we do.

Because there will always be another dog who needs us, and we want to be able to keep saying YES. 🐾❤️

🐾 Guess who’s coming to Yappy Hour tonight?! 🐶❤️

Meet Scout! This handsome 5-year-old Heeler mix is about 50 lbs of pure sweetness, and he’s looking for his forever home! 🏡❤️

Scout will be joining us TONIGHT at Yappy Hour @ The Catch at 5:30 PM! 🍹🐾

Come say hi, give him some love, and who knows… you might just meet your new best friend! ❤️

Rescue never stops…

In just a few hours, Goldie & Katie went from having nowhere to go to being safe and given a chance.

A huge thank you to Anne for saying YES without hesitation and opening her home to two girls she knew nothing about. Because she stepped up to foster, they are safe today. ❤️

Our 1st vaccine Clinic thanks to our partners Upper Keys Veterinary Hospital . Starting the day off and hoping to help our Keys Community with the Low Cost Vaccine clinic. Thank you to our local groomers Stephanie from and Marisol from Pet Keys Groomer for donating their time to provide nail trimming. Our vaccine clinic appointments are full today but nail trims available to all. Stop by until 6pm.
