When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, that's a moray!
Meet the green moray eel (Gymnothorax funebris), our grumpy looking, yet misunderstood reef resident. These eels are actually quite friendly and even though they look like they're giving you the side eye and about to bite, they are just misunderstood; eels open and close their mouths to pass water over their gills so that they can breathe! They also have their own signature moisturizer, in the form of mucous. Green morays are actually brown, but they're covered in a lovely yellow-green mucus.
