It is our pleasure to announce that the 13th Annual ROTARY KEY BISCAYNE WINE & FOOD FEST will be held on Friday, January 26th 2018, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at The Rusty Pelican. The evening’s proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne Foundation (RCKBF) and its affiliated charities for adults and children. This year a very exciting and interesting showdown will take place… Thirteen di
fferent wines from the New World will compete against the same varietals from the Old World to earn recognition as “Best of Show” in each class. A lovely Italian Prosecco will be offered upon arrival to “season the palate” for the wonderful wines to follow. Shari Gherman, president of the American Fine Wine Competition & Charity Wine Gala, is our wine director again this year. Four other noted wine professionals, Patrick Sullivan, wine educator; Wendy Rosano, Sommelier and wine director at Terra Fiamma in Delray Beach; Roberto Colombi, Sommelier and GM of The Blue in the Boca Raton Resort, and Henry Barrow, Wine Educator, will complete the professional Judging panel. All presented wines have been graciously supplied by Strategic Importers and will be available for sale at the event through Wine Date, our official wine retailer. Wine Date will coordinate all orders, payment, delivery and pick-up, and will donate 10 percent of sale proceeds to the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne Foundation. A variety of food delicacies prepared by several prominent South Florida restaurants are included in the price of admission.
