The force was strong this evening. Last night, May 4th, Mary Gaye had a full hour for the evening class. K.A.C. was hopping; baby blankets, quilts, dress making, and a group project on a future pixelated quilt, chatting with old friends and new friends, and some shenanigans brought a few chuckles.

Nancy Dorner, one of our longarm tech's, saw this pattern on Facebook and liked it so much, she figured out the pattern from the picture. Kathy Cross got cracking on her "Winter Trees" quilt kit during January and February. The kicker is Kathy waited a decade to start on this gorgeous winter scene. Kathy believes if you hang up a seasonal quilt scene, it needs to be taken down for Mother Nature to get the hint for the next season to arrive. Spring is here!!! Thanks Kathy. In her stash, Kathy also found the kits for the wool and hand stitched on flannel pillows. They are a perfect match to the wall hanging. Great job Kathy!!!
