We love seeing quilts made for couples. Bonnie Onesti made a Swan Quilt in July for a gift.

Bonnie worked hard on piecing together the swans and the herringbone border. She also appliquéd the names and the hearts. She did a fabulous job too!

Psst! Classes are starting up again (Tuesday, September 8). That means we will have new students.

Each session when a new student starts they do a Log Cabin Table-topper (4 blocks). After that first project is done they are able to work on any quilting project.

Last year, Patti Jonet was one of those new students. Here is her first quilt project with Kewaunee Artisan Center.

Our 🕷️spidey senses are a tingling over another quilt quilted with love from grandma comes from Berni Madison. Last year she created “Gideon’s Quilt” with Spider-Man 🕸️🕷️colors with a piano border. The back of this quilt sported white spiderwebs.

For each of Berni’s quilts she makes a special note for each of the quilt recipients. For this quilt, her grandson Myles got a cool Spider-Man colored quilt with a lovely note. 📝

We loved watching Berni piece this quilt together. We hope Myles loved ❤️his quilt cause we sure did!

One of our favorite and most made quilt types made here at the Kewaunee Artisan Center are baby quilts. Baby quilts 👶🍼 make great gifts and are so gosh darn adorable.

One baby quilt made last year by Bobbi Bosacki comes to mind. Her baby quilt was animal themed. We are sure that the little tyke that received it loved those animals too!

Anyone for cards 🃏? Cheryl Daul made this mesmerizing quilt called “Card Trick”. The color combo Cheryl choose gives us a relaxing vibe. Makes one want to curl up on the couch with a cup of ☕️ (tea) or coffee with a book in hand.

If Tuesday was a color, what color would it be to you? To our social media manager, Katie, she thinks it would be a bright color like one of these found in Patty Leist’s quilt she made last February. It was a beautiful quilt too!
