Downtown Kewanee - A Walldog Certified Community The Go-To spot for Kewanee Walldogs Murals and Kewanee Arts! Help us in our efforts to create a regional home for the arts in Kewanee, Illinois!

For five days, July 10th through July 14th, 2013, over 200 artists descended upon Kewanee, Illinois' history downtown. When they finished, the Walldogs left us with 15 beautiful murals, depicting historical moments unique to Kewanee. They have moved on to other small towns, but they have left us with the gift of tourism and the arts. Kewanee has always had a creative spirit and now we carry it on,

celebrating the Walldogs' legacy, and celebrating our own artists. Take a tour of our murals and stay tuned for more news here as the Arts Scene continues to grow and flourish. This is what happens when Walldogs meet Hog Heaven! Riding a wave of community togetherness, Kewanee was named the 2013 Rand McNally Best of the Road Friendliest Small Town in the USA! Amazing things happen when we all work together.
