🎉 Congratulations to Matt Bersell on his new role as Program Director of Aquatics and Wellness at the Two Rivers Kewanee YMCA! 🎉

Matt brings more than a decade of experience in aquatics and youth development, along with a passion for helping individuals of all ages grow, learn, and succeed.

A 2016 graduate of Monmouth College, Matt has served in a variety of roles throughout his career, including lifeguard, swim lesson instructor, swim coach, American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, and pool manager for the Galva Park District. His commitment to safety, skill development, and mentorship has made a lasting impact on countless youth and families in our community.

Many already know Matt as the head coach of our Kraken competitive swim team, where his leadership and dedication have helped young athletes build confidence, character, and success both in and out of the pool.

In his new role, Matt will lead and strengthen our aquatics and wellness programs while continuing to create positive experiences for members of all ages.

Please join us in congratulating Matt on this well-deserved leadership opportunity. We are excited for the future of our programs under his guidance and look forward to all he will accomplish at the Y!

What an incredible weekend at the Kewanee Dance Recital! 🌟

We are so proud of all of our dancers for the hard work, dedication, and passion they brought to the stage. From practices and rehearsals to recital day performances, every dancer gave it their all and truly shined. 💜
