Luther Heights Bible Camp is a Lutheran outdoor ministry located in the Sawtooth Mountains in central Idaho.

We are an ACA-Accredited camp, offering summer youth programming, day camps, family camps, retreats for all ages, and hosted groups. Welcome to our first ever Homeschool Weeks at Luther Heights!

We have the delicious food, comfortable cabins and so many fun activities to choose from and all that is missing is you! Come learn archery, or try our low ropes course. Maybe you want to go canoeing, kayaking, or mountain biking. And don't forget about the abundant craft supplies waiting to be turned into your new masterpiece. We have all of these plus the chance to explore the woods, creeks, lakes, and rivers all around us while spotting the local wildlife. This week is going to be the highlight of the summer and we are ready to welcome your group to camp!

WELCOME TO MUSIC ON THE MOUNT!

We have partnered with Campfire Music Collective again to put on our 2nd annual Music on the Mount Retreat. We can't wait to hear you play your guitar, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, bass guitar, keyboard, violin, and cajón/percussion! Come enjoy a weekend of music, community, and a breath taking view of the mountains. Whether you're just learning or you've been playing for years, we can't wait to make music together, learn from one another, and enjoy jamming around the campfire with you. See you soon!

Check out our first ever Homeschool Weeks at Luther Heights!

Bring your homeschool pod, co-op, or just your family unit and be in community with other homeschool families! Choose the week and how many days your group would like to come play in the mountains!

August 3-7, August 10-13, August 17-20, August 24-27

Choose from activities such as archery, low ropes, canoeing, kayaking, mountain bikes, hiking and backpacking equipment, and abundant craft supplies for hands-on learning. With creeks, lakes, and rivers all around, you’ll have endless opportunities for environmental science exploration—or simply the joy of play and discovery. Our wide-open meadow invites freedom, creativity, and child-led outdoor learning.

Pricing:
$60 per adult per night, plus $20 per night per child ages 6–17 for cabin with an attached bathroom (cabins have 12 beds).

For a more rustic experience, cabins at $30 per adult per night and $10 per night per child ages 6–17. These cabins still include electricity, electric space heaters, and wood-burning stoves, while utilizing our central shower house.

Children 5 and under stay free.

Your stay includes breakfast, pack-out lunch, and dinner each day. Lifeguards for canoeing/kayaking & staff to lead archery/low ropes course.
Horseback rides available at Mystic Saddle Ranch for additional cost.

Welcome campers to our first ever Camp Alturas!

We are going to have so much fun during these 4 days in the mountains! But it is more then just about the fun... it's about connection, challenge, and growth. Through wilderness exploration, team challenges, environmental stewardship, and daily reflection, campers develop resilience, responsibility, teamwork, and kindness. Grounded in science and inclusivity, Camp Alturas is a secular, adventure-focused experience designed for youth from diverse backgrounds, including nontraditional schooling programs. We can't wait to meet all of our campers and share in the joy these 4 days will bring!

Come enjoy the end of summer at Luther Heights Family Camp during Labor Day Weekend!

Family Camp is a chance for families of all shapes and sizes to step away from every day hustle of work and school and spend meaningful time together in the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains. Families will enjoy delicious meals, campfires, and hands-on activities for all ages, including canoeing, low-ropes challenges, mountain biking, and hiking, alongside optional opportunities for spiritual growth, such as pastor-led Bible studies, worship through song, prayer, and guided reflection. With comfortable lodging, a welcoming community, and a pace that invites both connection and rest, Family Camp creates space for laughter, renewal, and lasting memories.

September 4 - 7 (Labor Day)

Cost:
$200/person – cabins with bathrooms
$180/person – cabins, detached bathrooms

Come spend a weekend exploring some of Idaho’s best waters in the heart of the Sawtooth Mountains — whether you’re a seasoned angler or just ready to try something new. The weekend includes casting lessons, a fly-tying workshop, and plenty of guided and independent time on the water.

It may be our last Youth Week Camp but we are ready for it to be the most fun and most memorable week of the summer! We are excited to sing camp songs around the fire, play one of your favorite camp games in the meadow and swim at Lake Alturas.
