🌟 St. Marys Area United Way Celebrates a Successful 2025 Campaign! 🌟
We are proud to share that the St. Marys Area United Way exceeded its 2025 fundraising goal thanks to the incredible generosity of our community. At our quarterly Board meeting on January 29, we celebrated another year of making a difference across Elk County and the surrounding region.
Because of support from local residents, businesses, and partners through payroll deductions, corporate giving, leadership donations, and individual contributions, we raised an amazing $208,076 in 2025 — surpassing our $200,000 goal!
Here’s how the 2025 total was made possible:
💼 $19,301 from employee payroll programs
🏢 $86,765 from corporate donations
🌟 $90,409 from Leadership Donors (individual gifts of $500 or more)
❤️ $7,367 from other individual contributions
🛍️ $4,204 from commercial donations
🕊️ $30 from memorial donations
These funds will be distributed through grants to local organizations providing essential services and programs for individuals and families in our community, including:
✅ Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services
✅ Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys
✅ CAPSEA
✅ Crystal Fire Department
✅ Dickinson Center’s Crossroads Program
✅ Elkland Search & Rescue
✅ Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania
✅ Guardian Angel Center
✅ Dolly Parton Imagination Library c/o Johnsonburg United Methodist Church
✅ Jay Township Fire Department
✅ St. Marys Ambulance Service
✅ St. Marys Area School District Library Program
✅ St. Marys Public Library
✅ City of St. Marys Recreation Department
✅ West Creek Recreational Trail
✅ And support for maintaining the gas bill for the Eternal Flame in downtown St. Marys
As we look ahead, we are excited to announce that our 2026 campaign goal is $200,000, and we are grateful for the continued partnership that makes this work possible.
