It’s with heavy hearts that we share some bittersweet news. After many incredible years of smoke, sauce, laughter, and memories, our annual BBQ Cook-Off will sadly no longer be held.
This decision did not come easily. Over time, increasing costs, the growing challenge of securing volunteers, the amount of time required to plan and execute the event, unpredictable weather, and the overall return on effort have forced us to make this tough decision. While our passion for this event has never faded, these realities ultimately led us to this difficult choice.
This BBQ Cook-Off has always been more than just a competition—it’s been a tradition. A place where friends and family came together, pitmasters shared their craft, and our community came together year after year. We are deeply grateful to everyone who cooked, volunteered, sponsored, attended, and supported us along the way. None of this would have been possible without you.
While this chapter is coming to a close, the memories (and flavors!) will live on. Thank you for making the BBQ Cook-Off something truly special. ❤️🔥
