Important Update from VA Dogs 📢‼️
Effective immediately, we are temporarily pausing the acceptance of new Veteran applications due to the significant number of Veterans currently awaiting service dogs. Our growing waiting list reflects the tremendous and urgent need for trained service dogs within the disabled Veteran community.
Our ability to rescue, train, and place service dogs with disabled Veterans depends directly on the funding we receive. Increased financial support would allow us to train and place more dogs, serve Veterans sooner, and reduce the current waiting list.
We ask our community and supporters to help us serve the Veterans who are waiting. We have the dogs, the expertise, and the capacity to do more. We simply need the financial resources to make it possible.
Together, we can turn waiting Veterans into partnered Veterans and give more rescue dogs the opportunity to change a life.
