The Hill Country Caring Crafters was pleased to recently donate a total of $7,150 to 8 local charities. Pictured left to right are: Barb Zwald, Kerrville Elks Charities, Inc.; Lorraine LeMon, Art 2 Heart; Rae Cardenas, Doyle Community Center; Clifton Fifer, Doyle Community Center, Brenda Thompson, Dietert Center; Ludivina Garcia, The Big Fix; Misty Kothe, Elevate Adult Education; Pam Umstead, Glory Community Garden and Linda Caldwell, Hill Country Caring Crafters. Missing from picture, Edna Vandiver, Christian Women’s Job Corps. Hill Country Caring Crafters is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that meets every Thursday 10 am to 1pm at the Elks Lodge #2081, 1907 W. Junction Hwy to make crafts. New members are always welcome.
