This past weekend the Kerrville Sunrise Lions Foundation helped our flood impacted families shop for rebuilding supplies at Walmart and Home Depot. Although it has been 9 months since the flood we still have families just starting their rebuilding process, while others have finally moved back into their homes. Recovery is a lengthy process!

Remember the Kerrville Sunrise Lions Club now manages the Kerrville Sunrise Lions Foundation (501c3) and your donation is tax deductible. Currently we are serving 70 families impacted by the floods with all funding obtained going directly to these families! We accept donations through Zelle, Cash App and to our PO Box 290508 Kerrville Tx 78029.

The Kerrville Sunrise Lions Club hosted our first evening meal at Bill’s BBQ tonight. We invited our 80 flood relief families to build friendship and speak more about what Lions clubs do.

We are so thankful to the support provided to the Kerrville Sunrise Lions Foundation to help with our flood impacted families and although it has been 8 months, we still have families who are in need.

The Kerrville Sunrise Lions Foundation started off the new year with another shopping day at Home Depot specifically for building supplies and home appliances. We had a busy day assisting over 10 families with their purchases. The day didn’t provide much opportunities for pictures as items were ordered and setup for delivery! We do have some happy clients who received new refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers and even a new lawn mower!
