Assisting pets living with low income individuals by providing spay/neuter for their animals, lowers the number of unplanned animals entering the shelter to begin with. In Los Angeles, where the shelter interventions and assistance programs were created, we started our rescue (Ghetto Rescue FFoundation). We are police officers, firefighters, and community members working closely with partner shelt

*Kermit the Dog. Kermit was dumped in ditch by someone in Eagle Pass, Texas. Then a family found him and took him home to feed him. He did not get better. We received a call (in California) asking for help. We contacted the local Vet, but she was unable to. We sent $100 to a man to drive Kermit to Uvalde to get him help. The Vet staff there advised us he had Mountain Fever and heartworms. We had him humanely put down and we had his ashes sent to us. We think Kermit mattered. We are sad no one helped Kermit the Dog. He motivated me to help people with their dogs in Texas.

We surpassed our goal of $300, raising $322.74! Next month let’s shoot for $350!

Supporters from California, Oregon, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Texas and Massachusetts placed orders at their local Panda and entered our fundraiser code!

Thank you to everyone who ordered from our Panda Express fundraiser on July 10.

Panda Express donated 28% of your order totals and we received a check for $256.59!!!! Y’all ordered almost $1000 worth of food!

The money will pay for this family dog to be neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. 🩵 We have vets that we work with who provide discounted services and you know we will use every last time of donations to assist pets in need.
