Kid n Ewe & Llamas Too

Kid n Ewe & Llamas Too Join us for the Kid 'n Ewe & Lamas Too Festival on November 8-10, 2019 at the Hill Country Youth Event Center in Kerrville, TX! www.kidnewe.com

The festival began in 1989 by a small group of Natural Colored Wool Grower Association members, who were handspinners and/or handweavers. Their goal was to promote natural Texas fiber by educating the public and marketing the products of the animals they raised. The first November event was held in Hamilton, and then moved to Goldthwaite. As the festival grew from a back yard gathering, it moved t

o Bartlett, then to Johnson City, and in 2001 to Boerne. Fiber Producers of Texas, Inc. (FPT) was incorporated in 1998 to manage the festival. Kid 'N Ewe evolved into Kid 'N Ewe and Llamas, Too when the South Central Llama Association became a sponsor of the festival, then dropping an "L" in Llama when State of Texas Alpaca Ranchers became a sponsor of the event. The festival is open to the public to provide quality supplies and equipment to crafts people, and share knowledge about fiber producing plants and animals. The Kendall County Fairgrounds in Boerne, Texas is once more host to the indoor/outdoor event for the whole family and is free to all. The sponsors would like to thank the people of Kendall County and Boerne, Texas and especially America's Choice for their hospitality to the festival's vendors, participants and guests.
