The Cailloux Foundation of Kerrville established the Scholarship Program in 2000 to benefit graduating seniors from selected Texas Hill Country high schools. Eligibility requirements included a minimum Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score of 1022 (verbal and math combined), or a minimum American College Test (ACT) score of 22 composite; a minimum grade average of 85 (on a scale of 100), and studen

ts must be in the top one-third of their class. Awards are up to $14,000 per recipient annually and are for undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university in Texas. Current scholarships are renewable for a maximum multi-year award of $56,000 per student. The renewals for scholarship awards is overseen by International Scholarship and Tuition Services (ISTS) of Nashville, TN. The Foundation will not select new recipients for scholarship awards in 2020.

Our Story

The Cailloux Foundation established a scholarship program in 2000 to benefit graduating seniors from selected Texas Hill Country high schools. More than $12,000,000 has been awarded in 301 scholarships of up to $14,000 per recipient annually for undergraduate study at accredited four-year colleges in Texas. The Program will have given more than $14,000,000 in scholarships by 2023, when it is scheduled to conclude. Current scholarships are renewable for a maximum multi-year award of $56,000 per student. We are proud of the educators, attorneys, musicians, fashion designers, visual artists, physicians, nurses, engineers, athletic trainers, accountants, psychologists, veterinarians, writers, law enforcement professionals, historians, businessmen and businesswomen that have received scholarship funding this program.
