✨ A Gift to KCLC—All Year Long! ✨

The Kerrville Christmas Lighting Corporation is excited to welcome Jeannie Wanhainen to our Board of Directors! While the Christmas season may still be months away, Jeannie’s addition is truly a gift we get to enjoy all year long. 🎁

Jeannie serves as a Community Relations Specialist at Security State Bank & Trust and is passionate about connecting people and strengthening our community. With over 18 years of banking experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, heart, and dedication to everything she does.

Her spirit of service shines bright year-round—Jeannie serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Texas Hill Country Advisory Board and is an Ambassador for the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, where she was honored as the 2025 Ambassador of the Year. She has also shared her talents as Social Media Chair for the Chamber’s Young Professionals and on the Public Relations Committee for the Kerrville Board of Realtors.

Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Jeannie is a proud mom to Faith and Corey and enjoys plants, nature, crafting, and spending time with her dogs, Zoey and Darla.

Please join us in giving Jeannie a warm welcome to KCLC! ❤️💚

We’re getting a head start on the holidays by giving our Christmas street ornaments a little extra care 🎄✨

Each of our 140 ornaments is being carefully refreshed and inspected to make sure they are ready to sparkle all season long. From checking for wear to replacing any broken bulbs, we’re making sure these decorations stay bright for years to come.

We can’t wait to see them lighting up our streets again! 247 days until Christmas 🎄✨

Kerrville will be shining a little brighter ✨

We presented a $58,689 check to the City of Kerrville, TX - City Hall today to help restore lighting on Tranquility Island following last year’s July 4th flooding.

This project—supported in part by a $40,000 grant from The Community Foundation—will bring the island back to life just in time for America’s 250th celebration 🇺🇸 and the 2026 Christmas season.

We’re proud to help restore a special part of our community impacted by the July 4th flooding.

🎄❄️ Thank you, Lowe’s! ❄️🎄

We’re grateful to Lowe’s for donating another AC unit to keep KCLC’s newest storage container cool and protect our Christmas décor year-round.

Huge thanks to Daniel Kloosterman (pictured here with our KCLC President George Eychner), Bill Ryan, and Paula Wilson with Lowe’s—and a special shoutout to KCLC Board Member Rose Bradshaw for securing this generous donation! ✨
