Attached is Sheep & Goat Products to Discuss with Veterinarians on the Treatment and Prevention of New World Screwworm (NWS), a resource developed by the Texas Sheep & Goat Raisers’ Association. We thank the Texas Sheep & Goat Raisers for creating this resource and allowing EWA to distribute it to our members.

We encourage all to monitor your animals for suspicious wounds, maggots, or other signs of infestation. If you observe any suspicious wounds, maggots, or infestations in your animals or herd, contact your veterinarian immediately. Early detection and reporting are critical in preventing the spread of New World Screwworm.
