Planting Day was a success!!! Huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up to help today!!! We were able to get so much accomplished!! You guys are amazing!!! We had a great time planting with all of you!! We planted several varieties of tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers, salad mix, Swiss chard, flowers, and more! We still have a few things left to plant but we mostly got everything planted! 🌱🥒🥬🍅🫑🌶️ 🥦🥕🍓

Today we were able to get all of our new beds filled and the existing beds cleaned out and ready for planting!!! We still have a long way to go but we definitely made lots of progress today!!! Shout out to Akers Enterprise for letting us use the machine to get the beds filled, my husband Chad Heckenberg for filling them, Kathy Crowell, Clara Sackett, and Olivia Gaff for all of your help! Also, shout out to Ft. Worth BBQ for always supporting us and for your donation!!! We couldn’t do all of this without people like you!!!!
