If you are a military mother in the Kent County or nearby area, please join us the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Amvets Post 23 at 98-52nd Street SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. If you have questions, please message us or email [email protected]. Blue Star Mothers of America is a national organization whose mission is to support our troops currently serving our country, to

support our veterans that have returned to civilian life, to support the mothers of those children who are serving, or have served, our nation, and to promote patriotism and democracy. In addition to fundraising to support our mission, our local chapter also collects items for care packages and sends them to our troops serving overseas, with their moral and well-being being of utmost importance. We also support and work with local veterans agencies to further the care and support our veterans receive upon returning to civilian life. We also are here to help encourage and support all military mothers, those whose children are still serving or have served in the past. Especially those who have become Gold Star Mothers as their children have given the ultimate sacrifice by dying for their country.
