⏰ DON'T WAIT — REGISTRATION CLOSES JULY 24! ⏰

Falcon families, this is your official reminder: season registration for BOTH football and cheer closes Friday, July 24. That's just around the corner — and once it closes, it closes.

If your player hit the field at the Combine last week → make sure their registration is complete so they can be placed on a team.

If your athlete missed the Combine → no problem! They can still register and will absolutely be placed on a team. But they MUST be registered by July 24.

Here's why you shouldn't wait until the last day:
🏈 Teams are being built NOW — registered players are placed through the KRFA Draft
👕 Uniforms are ordered based on registration — late sign-ups risk delays getting sized and outfitted
📣 Cheer squads are forming too — this deadline applies to our cheerleaders as well!

Kentwood Family,

This is your final reminder that football and cheer registration will officially close on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM. There will be no late registrations, so if you have not signed your athlete up, now is the time.

If you have friends, family members, neighbors, or classmates who are still thinking about joining, please help us spread the word. We don't want anyone to miss out simply because they weren't aware of the deadline.

As we prepare for another great season, we appreciate everyone's support and look forward to seeing our returning athletes and welcoming new families to the Kentwood Rocket Football & Cheer program.

Kentwood Family,

I want to thank everyone who helped make this year's combine another great success.

A huge thank you goes out to our coaches and board members for volunteering your time and helping everything run smoothly. Events like this simply don't happen without your commitment and willingness to give back to our athletes and families.

I also want to give a special thank you to Dante and BJ. They did a phenomenal job organizing and streamlining the entire process. From registration to getting participants through the stations and onto the field, everything moved efficiently and made for a great experience for both our athletes and parents. Your hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed.

While the combine is behind us, our work isn't done. We have 14 days left before registration closes, and we need everyone's help getting the word out. If you know families who are still thinking about football or cheer, encourage them to register as soon as possible. Registration closes on July 24th, and there will be no late registrations.

Thank you again for everything you do for Kentwood Rocket Football & Cheer. I'm looking forward to another great season!

Kentwood Rocket Football & Cheer Association is a member of the West Michigan Youth Football League. Children grades 3-6 are eligible to participate in tackle football and cheerleading.

What a night! 🏈🔥

Last night's 2026 KRFA Combine was everything we hoped for and more — fast 40s, sharp cuts through the pro shuttle, diving catches, big-time throws, and some seriously impressive blocking and tackling form. But more than anything, we saw effort, heart, and a whole lot of smiles.

To every player who stepped on the field: BE PROUD. Whether it was your first Combine or your fourth season, you showed up and competed — and that's what being a Falcon is all about.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made the night possible:
👏 Our coaches and evaluators who ran all six stations
👏 Our student athlete helpers who kept every drill moving
👏 Our registration, uniform fitting, and setup volunteers
👏 And every parent, guardian, and family member who came out to cheer

🚨 TWO DAYS! 🚨

The 2026 KRFA Combine is THIS TUESDAY, and the road to Draft Day starts here!

This Tuesday evening, players from across the league will hit the field at East Kentwood High School to run, catch, throw, block, and compete — and this year, Combine performance plays a bigger role than ever in how coaches evaluate players and build balanced, competitive teams for the KRFA Draft.

📅 Tuesday, July 7
🕔 Registration opens at 5:00 PM
🏈 Combine kicks off at 5:30 PM
🏁 Wraps up around 8:00 PM
📍 East Kentwood High School Football Stadium

What to expect:
✅ 40-yard dash & pro shuttle
✅ Catching, throwing, blocking & tackling form stations
✅ Coaches evaluating every player at every station
✅ A fun, exciting atmosphere for the whole family

A few reminders:
👉 Pre-registration makes check-in faster, but walk-ups are welcome

🏈 The 2026 KRFA Combine is almost here!

On Tuesday, July 7, athletes from across the KRFA will compete in our annual Combine, where they'll be evaluated in the same core skills that coaches will use during this year's draft process. With player evaluations playing a bigger role than ever, this is your opportunity to showcase your speed, agility, athleticism, and football ability before teams are selected.

Whether you're a returning player or joining the league for the first time, the KRFA Combine is your chance to make a strong first impression.
