May in Review - UFCW 951 🌼
May was all about staying connected and showing up for each other 💙
Out in the units, President Phillips connected with members and stopped by fundraisers, spending time where she’s most at home-supporting our UFCW brothers and sisters.
We also celebrated 3rd Shift Appreciation Day (thank you for everything you do!) and had a great time together at the Chihuly exhibit at Frederik Meijer Gardens.
Appreciate everyone who made this month so special—on to June! 💪

It’s that time of year again! 📸☀️

UFCW 951 welcomes you to show us what you enjoy about summer! Members can submit a photo taken between Memorial Day (May 25) and Labor Day (September 7) for a chance to win. Five random contestants will be awarded $100.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Photos MUST include the UFCW 951 logo, whether it be on our stickers, pens, or even a copy of The Voice of 951 newspaper.
• Attach a JPEG or PNG file of your photo and type your full name and unit number in the body of the email.
• Submissions can be emailed to [email protected] with “Photo Contest” in the subject line. Members can also share to Facebook and tag us @ UFCW951.
• Must be a UFCW 951 member in good standing to win.

What a wonderful day at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park! 🪴🖼️

We had an incredible time last week enjoying the beautiful blown glass works of Dale Chihuly, as well as all the wonderful plants and sculptures available at the gardens year-round.

Congratulations again to our ticket giveaway winners, as well as to the raffle winners chosen at the event! We’re proud to create opportunities like this for our members—bringing people together, building solidarity, and making lasting memories both inside and outside of work. 💙

Third Shift Appreciation was a success! Over the nights of May 12 and 13, reps handed out more than 3,000 swag bags to Third Shift members all over the state. Thanks again to all of our hardworking members. We appreciate all that you do!
