Hey y'all! I hope that all my SAKQ gals are coming along ok in 2K18! I'm sure some of us made a New Year's resolution to lose weight, and get our bodies BADD, right? But how many of us made a New Year's resolution to get our minds right? Our mental health is just as important as our physical health girls! Statistics show that 1 in 5 Americans experience mental illness every year..... that's a LOT yall! Some little tips to get your mind right in 2K18
1. Take a break from social media. I love the tea, love to lurk and read about bae, the mess, and the drama, but we gotta let our minds rest.
2. Take time to go outside sometimes. Staying inside all the time gives us too much time to think! Again our minds need rest too!
3. If necessary, talk to a counselor. It's ok, don't be ashamed! I talked to one and she was amazing and got me on the right track.
4. And lastly but probably most important: Take a mental health day gals!!!!! Shopping day, take your self to lunch/dinner, go goodwilling, or even just cut the tv off and meditate or journal!
