Starting off the Blue Star Mothers National Convention this week, and this year it's right here in OHIO! 🎉

We're so excited that we get to stay in our home state and spend the week making memories, enjoying all the fun activities planned, and celebrating the incredible sisterhood that brings us together. There is truly something special about being surrounded by women who understand the sacrifices, pride, and love that come with supporting our military and veterans.

Here's to a week filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable moments. Let the convention begin! ❤️🤍💙

Yesterday, our group came together to complete the Miles for Our Veterans 5K, and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather! 🇺🇸

It's always a great time when we get together—sharing stories, laughter, and making memories along the way. Even better, we were able to do it while supporting a cause that's near and dear to our hearts.

It was a HOT one, but we had so much fun walking in Forest's Tree Town Parade last Friday evening! 🍬☀️ We loved passing out candy and proudly representing our chapter. 💙🇺🇸

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandpas, step/bonus dads, and father figures who have served our families and our country. Thank you for your strength, sacrifice, and unwavering support. 🇺🇸💙

Our Veteran Dinner last night was a great success! There was plenty of delicious food, lots of laughter, and wonderful fellowship. A special thank you to Guitars for Vets band A.W.O.L. for providing the great tunes and helping make the evening so enjoyable.

What a busy and rewarding weekend for our chapter! 🇺🇸

On Saturday, our members split up to support two wonderful events in our communities. Some of our chapter members attended the Flag Day Ceremony at the Elks in Kenton, while several others volunteered at Vet Fest in Findlay. Both events were a great success and we all had a wonderful time.

On Sunday, Kathy and Marilyn represented our chapter at the Flag Day Ceremony in Forest, continuing our mission of honoring our nation's flag and those who have served under it.

Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we proudly honor the Stars and Stripes, a symbol of our nation's freedom, strength, and the sacrifices made by so many to protect it.

As we display our flag, let us remember the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country, as well as the families who support them every step of the way.

⭐ And a special Happy Birthday to the United States Army! ⭐

Since June 14, 1775, the Army has stood ready to defend our nation with courage, honor, and dedication. Thank you to all Army soldiers, past and present, for your service and sacrifice.
