Venmo While we do not have a shelter to house animals, we offer low cost spay/neuter services. We also host a monthly Pet Food Pantry for low/no incomes families. We are not affiliated with any other organizations and get no outside funding other than approved grants, donations and money raised through

weekly Bingo. Bingo is held on Wednesday evenings and our doors open at 5 PM. The Hardin County Humane Society is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 1998.

Did you know? Poodle mixes or "doodles" are some of the most common breeds found in puppy mills. DNA testing has often shown that a "Maltipoo" or "AussieDoodle" sold in a pet store or online is not even a mix of the two breeds advertised, but sometimes contains entirely different breeds. Further, science tells us that simply mixing any breed with a poodle does not make their puppies "hypoallergenic," because a puppy can inherit traits from either one of their parents.

You can help by choosing adoption first and encouraging friends and family to visit their local shelters, or buy only from a responsible breeder they have carefully screened in person.
