Our December Women Support Group was a time of connection, encouragement, and hope. Together, we shared, learned, and lifted one another up.

We are so grateful for the generous donation of cooking oil and Christmas gifts for our children given to Ubumwe Women Association.
Because of this kindness, families will cook with dignity, and children will experience joy this Christmas season.
This is what community looks like, people showing up for one another with love.
Thank you St.Mathew family for helping us remind our families that they are seen, supported, and not alone.

Today, the meal was prepared with so much love by our Executive Director herself.
She shared:
“Rice and beans remind me of home a time when hope was reborn.
A simple meal that once brought joy and unity, when community became family, the family we could rely on.”
Today wasn’t just about food.
It was about belonging, memory, and togetherness.
Around the table, we were reminded that love can be served, hope can be shared,
and community can feel like home.

We find joy in serving - delivering furniture and essential household items to a single mom who recently moved into her apartment, helping her begin this new chapter with dignity and hope.

We are deeply grateful for our partnership with St. Matthew Church, whose support made it possible for a community member experiencing homelessness to move into stable housing. Together, we were able to provide furniture and essential household items, helping them begin this new chapter with dignity and hope.
