Hillel at Kent State University Hillel inspires and enables students to explore, embrace, and celebrate Jewish life and identity Hillel is truly the place to be.

The Cohn Jewish Student Center, home of Hillel at Kent State, really is a “home-away-from-home” for the 1,500 Jewish students at Kent State and The University of Akron. Hillel is the foundation for Jewish life on campus offering social, cultural, spiritual and religious opportunities for everyone. Hillel's home, the Cohn Jewish Student Center, is a great place to relax and catch up with friends. S

tudents come to the Cohn Jewish Student Center between classes or in the evenings to study and hang out with classmates, play pool, check their email, watch TV and enjoy free snacks.

Join us next week on Friday, August 28th for Welcome Back Shabbat! Optional services will begin at 5:30, and Dinner will be served around 6:15! Feel free to arrive whenever is most comfortable and convenient for you. Pre-Shabbat Bingo at Hillel will start at 4:00 for anyone looking to settle into Shabbat vibes a little early! Please make sure to RSVP at the link in our bio before the even so we know how much food to prepare and to allow us to accommodate any food restrictions you may have! Guests and friends are always welcome!
