Alhamdulillah, today the Masjid Quba management team had a very positive and productive meeting with Danna Ralph, City of Kent Mayor, Chief of the Kent Police Department, and the heads of the Economic and Development Departments.

During the meeting, we discussed several important topics related to our growing community, including:• Support and coordination for future Eid prayers and large community events• Traffic control and public safety during major gatherings• Community partnership and open communication with the City of Kent• Ongoing challenges facing our community in Kent and throughout the South King County region

We are very thankful to Mayor Ralph, the Chief of Police, and all city leadership for their time, support, and willingness to work together with our community. The meeting was respectful, encouraging, and very positive, and we look forward to building a stronger partnership with the City of Kent for the benefit of everyone in our community.

Masjid Quba proudly continues to serve hundreds of families through our Masjid services as a hub for Afghans across the State of Washington, promoting unity and providing community support, youth programs, education, charity work, refugee support, and community outreach.

We ask Allah (SWT) to continue bringing unity, peace, and positive relationships between our community and our local leaders.

JazakAllah Khair,AACW Masjid Quba Management
