We are passionate parents who have children with developmental disabilities, professionals who care about people with disabilities and valued community volunteers. We founded this Organization in June 2009 after more than a decade’s collaboration on projects specifically designed for serving and supporting multicultural families with family members with developmental disabilities and special health care needs.

For many people with disabilities and their families, mental health is affected by the constant effort it takes just to participate. This can include:
• Repeatedly requesting accommodations
• Navigating systems that aren’t accessible
• Explaining needs over and over

At ODMF, navigators support families by helping them understand systems, advocate for their needs, and move forward without having to do it alone.
When access is shared, mental health doesn’t have to carry the weight.

To our beautiful community: thank you for gathering with us, believing in inclusion, and showing what it looks like when every culture, every ability, and every story belongs. Together, we’re opening doors, breaking barriers, and creating space for families to thrive, just as they are, and just as they dream to be.
Thank you for joining us at Under One Sky, 2026.
