As summer hits full swing and families start to think ahead, we’re considering hosting another “Taste of Future Fridays” workshop on August 8—a hands-on experience that gives teens (ages 12+) a chance to explore critical thinking, communication, and real-world readiness.

If you’d be interested in attending—or know a teen who might love this—drop a comment or DM us so we can gauge interest before locking it in!

In the meantime, here are 5 ethical questions to ask your teen this week (and then challenge them to argue the opposite view 😉):

Is it ever okay to lie?

Should people always follow the rules?

Is it more important to be kind or to be honest?

Should animals have the same rights as humans?

Do we owe more to people in our own country than to those around the world?

These are the kinds of conversations we love at Vanguard—because teens deserve spaces to explore complexity with curiosity and compassion. 🧠💛
