Wakulima USA Our farming cooperative advances small business development and food sovereignty.

Wakulima USA is a nonprofit in the Puget Sound region geared towards improving the livelihoods of low income immigrants through mental health, youth, and farming programs. Our Food Production Center will serve as our primary storage, production and distribution facility. The coop will aggregate purchase, store and distribute farm inputs for members and will act as an integrator, collecting the out

put from members, undertaking manufacturing, and delivering product downstream through our marketing channels. We will make value addition one of our core focuses - transformation, packaging, distribution, and marketing of farm products (both crop and livestock).

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the farm yesterday and today!

We will be 🚫closed tomorrow 7/23🚫, and ✅️open again at 8AM Friday 7/24✅️.

Please remember to bring your own containers to take your blueberries home in!

We also suggest bringing hats, sunscreen, cool water, and a snack.

Last Friday we had Micah Anderson of come and give a cover crop workshop for the farmers at horsneck! Farmers were able to learn all about the benefits of various types of cover crops for maintaining soil health for next years season! Farmers were then able to take home a variety of cover crop seeds for their plots. Thank you so much to the community and volunteer team at for helping to organize and provide lunch for all who attended!

Last week high school interns came to the Wakulima Farm. Interns, EarthCorps staff, Wakulima staff, and farmers shared a meal and discussed culturally relevant organic farming! The interns took a farm tour, seeded herbs, and talked to farmers.
