We are an independent support group for moms and dads who have decided to stay at home with their children either full or part-time.

We are an independent support group for pre-elementary families who have decided to stay at home with their children either full or part time or work any number of hours near Wheaton and Silver Spring, Md. We are located in Montgomery County, Md., and serve parents who live in or near Wheaton and Silver Spring. Most of our members live in or near the 20902 zip code.

WAM & Fam (formerly Wheaton Area Moms) is an independent parents group for families with children ages 0-5. We love being a community of families supporting each other through this wild and amazing season of parenthood! WAM offers:

weekly age-based playgroups • monthly activities
parents' night out • book club
community service • all-WAM parties

New members are always welcome! We host two public events each month for prospective members to learn about our group, commitment-free!

Membership fee: $24 ($2 per month)

WAM is a fully volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization supporting pre-elementary families in and around Silver Spring, MD
