Last month, through charitable support from Eli Lilly and Company to United Way Worldwide, United Way of Kenosha County, in partnership with Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency, Kenosha County Food Bank, The Salvation Army Kenosha County, Shalom Center of the Interfaith Network, and Sharing Center, Inc., distributed more than 42,000 pounds of nutritious food, including fruits, vegetables, and fresh protein, across Kenosha. Lilly’s support of United Way for the nutritious foods program demonstrates a commitment to bridging gaps in food access. Together, we’re providing opportunity, dignity, and pathways to better health.

Happy Anniversary, Eli Lilly!
In 2026, to mark the company's 150th anniversary, Lilly launched an initiative to support charitable efforts of trusted community organizations, including United Way, to increase access to nutritious food in communities served by United Way.
Together with nonprofit partners, corporate and individual volunteers, on September 24, 2026, 15,000 pounds of fresh fruits, vegetables, and fresh protein will be distributed at three community sites: Shalom Center, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sharing Center, with support from Twin Lakes, from 9 a.m. to noon; and Salvation Army, from 1-3 . The effort is being coordinated in partnership with Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency, Kenosha County Food Bank, and the United Way of Kenosha County.
We’re proud to participate in this special program as part of our year-round commitment to building a thriving Kenosha County.
