New year, new faces, and exciting changes for some familiar ones; our Lancer family is growing!
Please join us in welcoming, and congratulating, a few people who help to make this Academy the virtuous Catholic institution it is, both inside the classroom and beyond.
- Miss Chloe Kroeger joins our Lower Campus as our new 1st grade teacher, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to our youngest Lancers. Lancer families may recognize the family name, as Chloe is the sister of our very own LC Music Teacher, Ms. Savannah Kroeger!
- Mrs. Mary Berry, SJHS '88, returns to the Upper Campus in Student Services, bringing a familiar face and a heart for our students.
- Mrs. Kathie O'Connor returns to the Upper Campus to teach Spanish, welcoming our students back with her trademark warmth.
- Rachael Hasser makes an exciting move from Upper Campus Student Services into her new role as Middle School Principal, bringing a deep knowledge of our community and a passion for student growth.
- Erin Duncan continues in our English Department and takes on a new role as an Instructional Coach this year. Working alongside teachers in reading, writing, and English, Erin will dig into student data, identify areas of growth, and provide meaningful, targeted support. Every great teacher deserves a great coach in their corner.
- Katie Drinka, SJHS '98, was a beloved staple in our LC Preschool for 15 years, nurturing countless Lancers through their earliest school experiences. Now she brings that same warmth, creativity, and deep connection to our community into a new chapter at the Upper Campus, supporting Admissions, Advancement, Marketing, and Special Events.
- Matt Rizzo and Heather Connolly, SJHS '88, are leading the charge in tandem under our new leadership model. Matt serves as Head of Student Formation and Campus Life, focusing on student culture, Catholic identity, athletics, and campus engagement. Heather joins as Head of Academy and Strategic Growth, bringing a wealth of knowledge from more than thirty years of educational leadership to guide SJCA's academic excellence, strategic planning, and long-term growth.
Our future here at SJCA is very bright. We can’t wait to see all of you Tuesday!
