The first of our graduation ceremonies has commenced. Our youngest learners celebrated their Little Lancer Preschool graduation yesterday. As these tiny scholars, leaders and stewards learned to pray, share, color, and cut, the Class of 2039 has shown us the future is so bright.

Next up, 5th grade Promotion to round out our Lower Campus milestone celebrations, before our 8th graders and seniors this weekend!

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: I have worked for the last 10 years for the Grand Foundation. I facilitate providing grants to organizations-specificallyfocusing on education, literacy and helping people with their basic needs. I also organize volunteer opportunities for our employees at our family business Grand Appliance. I am most proud of the Mark R. Reckling scholarship we created in my father's honor to help first generation students attend college. There have been six recipients so far. I was also a middle school teacher-teaching English for 5 years.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐉𝐇𝐒/𝐒𝐉𝐂𝐀? Winning the football championship and all the excitement surrounding that. I also really liked certain classes like my religion class with Mr. Coe. I also made life long friends-my best friend to this day.

Between final exams, spring sports, concerts, the Lancer Countdown, field trips, and everything in between, we know “May-cember” is real.

Before summer official starts, we want to remind you of our $50,000 match opportunity available for donations made through June 30th.

“On Wisconsin!” started as the closing number of our spring concert almost by accident, but now it’s definitely here to stay!

Scrolling through the music library, Band Director J.R. Buzzell pulled this one out three years ago as a fun extra piece for the students to play. At the time the band consisted of only 13 musicians. The following year they had grown to 26 and decided to play it again. Then 45. Now with 62 musicians, the students insisted this number be part of last night’s spring concert once again, and just like that a new Buzzell Band tradition was born!

To wrap up our Friday Fun Lunch, our Big Blue tailgate trailer made an appearance at the Lower Campus! Alums Thomas Connolly and Charlie Anderson, both Class of 2023, were on hand to grill almost 400 burgers and hot dogs!

A heartfelt thank you to the Vignieri family from Birchwood Foods for donating the delicious beef burgers, our parent volunteers for serving our Lancers, and our Advancement Director Mandy Weiss for bringing it all together for this fun in the sun lunch!

Vanessa, Andres, Jayden, and Olivia we wish you all blessings in your next chapter!
