🚗 1,890 mobile crisis responses and 12,600 miles driven to meet people where they are

🛏️ 584 people found safety and stabilization at the KARE Center

🧒 668 children with disabilities supported through CLTS, 60% of them under age 5

🏠 147 of 155 youth at Kauffman House moved on to less restrictive care

🔑 166 adults and children moved into stable housing

🤝 1,297 peer-led gatherings at Bridges Community Center, with 251 new members

💙 94 cents of every dollar spent went directly to programs

KHDS has served Kenosha for 52 years, and Pam Tenuta has been here for 44 of them.

When you ask Pam what the best part has been, she doesn't talk about herself. She talks about the people she's served: "Seeing them succeed. When they graduate. When they come back."

Ask her colleagues and you'll hear something else: Pam will move mountains. She is tenacious. And Pam never gives up on anyone.

Generations of youth have been inspired by her, and many of them are out in our community today because she believed in them first.

In Pam's words: "I find joy in what I do. It's been fun."

Thank you, Pam, for 44 years of showing up, finding a way, and making a difference. Happy Workiversary!

CHECK OUT (pun intended!) the Kenosha Public Library Book Truck! The KPL Book Truck visits the KHDS/KUSD neighborhood Thursdays from 2:30-3:30p! The truck will be parked near the parking lot of our main office location (3536 52nd Street) in front of the new Kenosha County Human Services Building!
