"I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donated, shared our project, or simply encouraged others to help.

Because of your generosity, we reached our goal! What started as an idea for a Yearbook Club is now becoming a reality because so many people believed in our students.

I can't wait to put this camera in their hands and watch them capture the moments that make Roosevelt such a special place. Years from now, they'll be able to look back at the memories they helped preserve, and that's something pretty special.

We had to make a very tough decision today and regrettably we are canceling Party on the Playground this year. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of help to run such a big, free event. We know how much our families love to come to this but without the help of more of our community we sadly cannot pull this off. This is not a decision we took lightly. We feel it would be a safety concern to have unattended bounce houses with so many children and we would hate to see anyone get hurt. We do not have enough volunteers to safely run this event and had to make a very difficult decision to cancel the event for this year. The forecasted rain is also a bummer!

We hope to see everyone for the 2026-2027 events!
