So proud of our nursing students for getting out into the community and putting their skills to use! They had the chance to complete health screenings for local 3K–4K students while gaining some great hands-on service-learning experience along the way.

Meet Sam!

Sam Sacket, MSN, RN, is a Nursing Adjunct Instructor at Gateway and a proud Gateway alum! He has been a nurse for over six years and currently works in Med/Surg–Telemetry.

Sam loves being able to bring his real-world nursing experience into the classroom and clinical setting. As an instructor, he strives to be approachable, supportive, and someone students feel comfortable learning from and asking questions.

Outside of nursing and teaching, Sam enjoys working out, spending time with his family, and playing video games.

If you see Sam, introduce yourself! You will find him teaching Nursing Advanced Skills and Nursing Intermediate Clinical Practice this semester!"

Gateway's libraries are fantastic resources that are available to you completely free! Beyond the endless amount of printed media, our libraries can provide you with everything from a loaner laptop or camera, to printing and scanning services, to a quiet place to focus and study and beyond.

Plus, you don't need to be a student to use their services—any resident 18 years of age or older may register for a Gateway library card! Head to your campus' library today or visit gtc.edu/library to learn more.

Ready to swing into action? Head to the Racine Campus' Student Commons on Thursday, October 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to play some mini golf and decorate a golf ball. Plus, take a little time to learn more about swing states (Wisconsin is one!), and grab a snack, too. All are welcome!
