We love seeing students inside the Kenosha Innovation Center because this is exactly where big ideas should start.

Thank you, Kenosha Unified School District and LakeView Technology Academy for bringing students into KIC to think like planners, designers, and future community builders.

Their challenge? Create a land use plan and decide what goes where.
That means strategy. Creativity. Tradeoffs. Vision. And maybe a little “wait…roads need to go somewhere?” real-world learning.

This is what KIN is built for: connecting students to place, possibility, and the kind of hands-on thinking that shapes the future of Kenosha.

Emerging tech can feel big, fast, and a little intimidating.

But the message from our Quantum Now | Quantum Next panel was clear: do not start with fear. Start with readiness.

Three priorities rose to the top:

Security. Know what matters most to your organization and protect it. Post-quantum readiness starts with understanding your risk, your data, and your systems.

Leverage your business. Emerging technology should not be a shiny object. It should help companies become stronger, faster, more resilient, and more competitive.

AI as an enabler. AI is already changing workflows, decision-making, and human performance. It can also help organizations prepare for what comes next.

The future belongs to the curious.

Be curious about quantum. Be curious about cybersecurity. Be curious about how your workflows, cloud systems, people, and business strategy are connected.

That is what KIN was built to do: create a place where emerging technology becomes understandable, actionable, and useful for the companies, founders, educators, and community leaders shaping what comes next.

Thank you to our panelists and everyone who joined us for a conversation that pushed past fear and into possibility.

Next week, KIN launches Quantum Now / Quantum Next with a first conversation focused on a very practical entry point: cybersecurity.

Why attend?

Because quantum is not just for physicists in lab coats. It matters to business leaders, manufacturers, IT teams, founders, educators, and anyone thinking about what comes next for technology, risk, talent, and competitiveness.

We’ll talk about what quantum means now, what it could change next, and why post-quantum cybersecurity is becoming a boardroom issue not just an IT department side quest.

Join us next week at the Kenosha Innovation Center for a smart, accessible, future-facing conversation with people who are already paying attention.
Come curious. Leave slightly more quantum-literate. Very on brand for 2026.

Tomorrow, we eat. 🌮🍔🍕

Street Eats hits the KIN Plaza tomorrow, and we’re bringing lunch energy to the innovation district.
Food trucks. Fresh air. Good people. And yes, this is your official reminder to grab that friend who “just works through lunch.”

Not tomorrow, Karen. We’re getting tacos.

Street Eats at the KIN Plaza
Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13
Lunch hour come hungry

Bring your team. Bring your neighbor. Bring the person eating almonds over their keyboard.

Let’s make the Plaza the place to be.
Innovation runs better on tacos.

The Kenosha Innovation Center continues to grow, evolve, and welcome new energy into the building.

As part of the larger Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood, the KIC was designed to bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, established companies, and community partners in a collaborative environment positioned between Milwaukee and Chicago.

We currently have a variety of spaces available ranging from smaller office suites to larger opportunities for growing teams, R&D operations, and organizations looking for a unique workplace environment. Beyond office space, the building offers shared amenities, event spaces, coworking opportunities through Engine Works, and access to a growing network of innovators and businesses.

If you have not had the opportunity to visit the building yet, I’d encourage you to take a look or stop by for a tour sometime. It’s exciting to see the momentum building within the Innovation Neighborhood and the partnerships continuing to form here in Kenosha.

Some pieces of history deserve more than a place in storage. They deserve a place in the story.

A big thank you to for helping us preserve and showcase a meaningful piece of Kenosha’s past as we continue building its innovation future.
At KIN, we talk a lot about moving from industry to innovation — but that only works when we honor the people, places, and moments that got us here.

This piece will help us tell that story inside the Kenosha Innovation Center: where
Kenosha’s industrial legacy meets what’s next.
