⛳ Creating Opportunities Through Golf! 💙
Thanks to the support of the Golf Foundation, three Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha Youth Center members had the opportunity to participate in our golf program this summer — and for one of them, it was their very first time picking up a golf club!
For Melanie, 11, this was her third year playing golf. While it wasn’t her first choice of sport, she shared that she learned so much each year and had fun participating. She’s already looking forward to playing again next summer!
For King, 10, golf was a brand-new experience beyond mini golf. He quickly learned proper stance and grip and was thrilled to discover he could hit the ball farther than anyone else at camp! He was so excited about his experience that he returned to the Club and told other kids all about it.
For Rishauna, 9, it was her first time ever playing golf. She described the experience as “fun and exciting,” especially when she successfully hit the ball into the cup. She knows that without the opportunity provided through the Club, she may never have had the chance to learn the game.
