History:
The Kenosha Community Sailing Center (KCSC) was established in the spring of 2008 as a nonprofit organization by Jim Buck, who offered a sailing program to the Kenosha youth by working with local agencies. Buck formed a team of individuals committed to enhancing the sailing program. Today, the KCSC is comprised of individuals committed to offering a safe and fun learning environment for community members of all ages in the sport of sailing! Mission:
The Kenosha Community Sailing Center (KCSC) is a collaborative effort between the Kenosha Yacht Club, local organizations, and area schools. KCSC's primary goal is to educate Kenosha youth in the sport of sailing while integrating academic, leadership, and life skills. The KCSC promotes awareness of and access to the Kenosha Harbor and the resources of Lake Michigan while respecting the local environments for people of all ages through the sport of sailing.

The Kenosha Community Sailing Center loves animals, whether they’re ducks, dogs or cats 🐥🐶🐱 Even though we are closed for the season, we want to remind you that you can take your pet on our duck boats and kayaks during the summer! ☀️

Also, if you’re looking for something to do with your pet soon, our friends over at The Beach House at Simmons Island are having a “HOWL-oween” pet parade next Saturday 🐾

Activities include pet costume/pet & owner look-alike contests with PRIZES, a treat & pup cup “barkery”, pet friendly-vendors, and pet photo opportunities.
