Great meeting yesterday!! Congratulations to our Taylor Family Scholarship winner Madi Tango, she will be using her $2000 scholarship for Cal Tech!
Bethany Larson was our speaker. Bethany is a life long Kenoshan and graduate of Tremper High School. Following her college graduation at a ripe old age of 21 she moved to Rwanda to work for a small nonprofit. While there is she co-founded a company Charmed Up. Covid hit and our community suffered from civil unrest and she knew she needed to get back home. Her partner bought her out and she returned to Kenosha. Where is she found her current job which she loves with gener8tor / gbeta. it was founded by two UW Madison graduates and is currently across the US and a few international sites, as well. Genera8tor is an investment firm that provides money for entrepreneurs and gbeta is a free seven week accelerated course for early stage companies with local roots and assist with helping find investors and accelerating the growth of equity right from the early stages. Bethany runs this program and it is in 33 markets. 
And lastly, we had a visiting Rotarian from Germany , Udo and Mike Fisher presented him with a flag from our club! Thank you to The Stella Hotel & Ballroom for hosting our meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month, and for providing such great lunches!
