Our deepest condolences go out to the Perez family in the loss of their dear Angelica, an angel here on earth. Wonderful wife of Pedro, mother to Daira Yulieth Perez Gonzalez, mother-in-law to Samuel, and beautiful guide over our Help and Hope Center in the barrio of Buenos Aires, Cucuta. We rejoice that she is in perfect body and mind in heaven with her beloved God and those who've gone before her. We will miss her greatly, for she was the very presence of grace, love, and peace.

What should be a 5-hour drive turns into 10.

Potholes. Checkpoints. Uncertainty at every turn.

And still, our team goes, traveling from Rubio, Venezuela to Maracaibo to serve the Wayuu communities, bringing medical care, prayer, and the hope of Christ to children and families in La Lechuga and the dry plains of Mara—where even water is scarce.

What we found wasn’t just need, but hunger—for education, for love, for God.

And because of you, that hunger is being met. ❤️
