Doctors and dentists attended to 173 individuals at our open clinic day in barrio Simon Bolivar. A huge thank-you to our team from Rubio who served these families! And special thanks to the wonderful people from First Colony Church in Texas who spent the day helping us and loving the children! Our new professional school is up and running!

It’s hard to believe this vision has become a reality. Many on our team worked hard toward the goal of providing a way for Venezuelans to achieve certification in a number of careers. in just a few months from conception of the idea, we are operating in downtown Rubio.

There are many people to thank, including our faithful donors in the US with a special matching grant led by and those who were inspired by it. Thank you all for partnering in this enterprise.

This family. With every ounce of hope they can muster, they pray for a future that’s better than the present. The boy, who has autism, attends our Help and Hope Center, but his sister can not walk. She either lies in bed or crawls. Simple medical aids and procedures are out of reach. More than ever, we are finding we need to pay close attention to individual families and needs. We’re prayerfully considering the addition to our staff of a special education teacher to help the children with individual challenges to learning. Thanks for your support as we look to increase our budget.
