We had an incredibly uplifting experience today at our final community planning meeting! I'm beyond proud of our mentees, especially Eddy, Mark and Alexis, who courageously shared their story! Special thanks to all agencies that participated. More exciting news to come!

Support our mentees this summer by purchasing a Chicken Chimichanga Lunch Plate. $15 for 1 Chimichanga, beans and rice with some salsa. We will deliver with an extra charge and if you order 4 or more plates delivery is free. You can also pick up. Plates will be for this Friday (June 19th). Our goal is to sell 100 plates, thank you for you supporting our summer fild trips for our mentees.

We believe in our mentees.. Meet Eddy, one of our mentees that has shown tremendous steps towards change. We connect not only the present change but connect them to future success, we connect our mentees with local union training center and other collaborative partners to help our mentees have a great start for success with a future job!

At El Puente, we believe real leadership starts with service. We’re working with gang-affiliated youth to redefine strength, not through control or fear, but through humility, responsibility, and a heart to serve others. When young leaders rise with purpose, communities heal. Through our Servant Leadership lesson, our young men made PB&J’s sack lunches and went to pass them out to those that needed them. Simple lesson but impactful experience.
