Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001. We pause to remember the thousands of lives lost that day, including the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving others.

May their courage and sacrifice continue to inspire us, strengthen us, and remind us of the importance of standing together and serving our communities.

We will never forget.

A powerful story.

Many of our L1296 members were part of the team that cared for Salvador on the day he was born. Seeing him now graduate from high school is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Moments like these make us incredibly proud to serve our community and provide the highest level of care when it matters most.

Congratulations Salvador on this incredible milestone!

A-Shift L1296 crews had the unique opportunity to participate in live fire training at an acquired structure today. This type of burn to learn training allows our members to observe real fire behavior and practice critical firefighting skills in a controlled environment. Crews completed multiple evolutions focused on interior fire attack and search operations.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the generous family who donated this structure for training purposes. Opportunities like this are far a few between and help our ability to better serve YOU!
