Attention all DVCTA Event Riders and Volunteers!
New for the 2026 awards year — hours you volunteer at Plantation Field Horse Trials, Fair Hill, and St. Augustine horse trials now count toward your year-end award volunteer requirement. And a reminder: every hour worked within the award period (November 1, 2025 – October 31, 2026) counts.
Each owner/rider combination must complete 8 volunteer hours at DVCTA events during the qualifying period to be eligible for year-end awards. Hours worked by family members count toward the member's total. You must be a DVCTA member at the time the hours were worked.
How to submit your hours:
- Use the Volunteers Online Submission Form at dvcta.org/volunteer, or email the DVCTA Volunteer Recording Form (a photo of the form is fine) to volunteer coordinator Sherry Deitrich at [email protected].
- A screenshot of your hours from Eventing VIP is sufficient proof — attach it with your submission.
- Since this is new this year, eventers may submit all hours earned this year any time before the deadline.
Hours not worked can be bought out at $20 per hour by November 15.
Award score submissions are due November 15, 2026.
Volunteer, submit your hours, and check the posted hours report on the DVCTA website to confirm your total.
