The Sports Management Club is a student-run organization that is designed to connect our members with professionals and create career opportunities in the sports industry. Along with the help from our professors, we aim to give our members an advantage over the competition in this competitive field. Club activities range from meeting with the members and professors, volunteer opportunities, guest speakers, conferences, tours, study abroad trips and our close involvement with our partnerships. The similar missions of Acworth’s Horizon League and Cherokee Special Olympics is to provide and inclusive sport environment for children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities. These opportunities vary from participating in athletics, social and cultural events, develop lasting relationships among their peers, coaches and parents, while creating qualities for success beyond sport. If you are looking to get involved, have fun, contribute to great causes, and learn about sports you have dove into the right place.
